Our System
Our resource recovery system is based on the established European ‘Biogastronomy’ design.
In use for over 30 years, it uses a vertical rotating paddle and fixed internal heat exchangers to efficiently recover material resources in gaseous, liquid, and solid forms.
The technology uses modular anaerobic digestion (AD) tanks, available in twenty (20) and fifty (50) cubic metre sizes, to easily and incrementally scale up the system’s throughput capacity. Each 20 cubic metre AD tank can process 165 tonnes of organic waste per year, while each 50 cubic metre AD tank can process 415 tonnes of organic waste annually. The unit pictured above with six 20 cubic metre AD tanks can process 1,000 tonnes of organic waste annually.
